The Pedersen Bicycle aka Dursley Pedersen is a style of bike that was first developed by Mikael Pederson in 1855, and produced in Dursley England. The bike featured a hammock saddle suspended from a truss frame. The truss frame gave the bike great strength for it's weight. The hammock saddle, royal handlebars and up-right seating position provided for an extremely soft ride. Pederson bicycles are still produced today.
